The DC current sensor is a reliable and technologically advanced DC large current measuring instrument, which is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, carbon and other industries. Whether the DC current sensor is correctly installed has a great impact on the use effect. In order to ensure the normal use of the DC current sensor in the future, it is also very important to install the equipment correctly. Let us share some installation tips below.
- Determine the installation method according to the site conditions and the size of the sensor head, and then make the bracket base plate (or pad) according to the required size. The bracket base plate material can be made of non-magnetic materials such as plastic board, epoxy board, bakelite board or hardwood board. If ferromagnetic material is used as the sensor head installation bracket, non-magnetic materials such as wood blocks should be used as pads to keep the distance between the sensor and the bracket greater than 80 mm.
- The conductive busbar to be measured should be placed in the center of the sensor head window and required to be perpendicular to the sensor plane.
- The installation position of the sensor head should be as far away from other conductive busbars as possible and away from the corners of the busbar to be measured.
- The distance between the circuit box and the sensor head is recommended to be within 10 meters, and the special cable can be lengthened as needed.
- The cable plug and the two sockets in the lower half ring of the sensor head can be connected arbitrarily, and the remaining socket in the lower half ring is connected to the socket in the upper half ring with a jumper cable.
